ENGIE North America is seeking a Project Controls Analyst II. This position will be located at The Ohio State University location. The position is situated within the Major Partnerships & Campuses (MP&C) business of Energy Solutions which grows and operates our long-term partnerships with universities, medical centers, and other institutional customers.
This candidate is responsible for the financial planning of the Capital Projects Team that carries out the development, administration and implementation of various capital projects related to lifecycle for campus utilities, campus expansion, and energy savings at The Ohio State University. Working in a self-managed team concept, the Project Controls Analyst II will be a part of the ENGIE team based at The Ohio State University campus and will be reporting to the Project Controls Director.

What you’ll do:
- Provide lateral leadership to the capital projects team, consisting of program managers and other support functions such as engineering and project administration, in a self-directed team structure
- Accountable for the update, consolidation and delivery of the rolling Five-Year-Plan of the Capital Project Program to the partnership in compliance with the O&M Agreement as well as the Concession Agreement
- Develop processes and tools necessary to measure, analyze, and improve the performance of the Capital Project Program as well as ongoing Operations
- Accountable for the consolidation and delivery of the forecasting model, including monthly rolling forecast, budget and medium-term plans
- Oversight and consolidation of the budgeting and forecasting process to meet ENGIE planning and reporting cycle
- Supporting the Project Controls Director on Finance, Corporate Governance and fiscal matters
- Timely reporting to management, shareholders and authorities on periodical basis, including variance analyses on monthly basis
- Ensure compliance with Company’s internal rules and guidelines
- Ensure that the ENGIE team at the Ohio State campus follows proper planning and reporting processes to meet reporting deadlines in compliance with the O&M Agreement as well as the Concession Agreement
- Provide guidance and support to the accounting team during internal and external audits
- Develop presentations for management updates and discussions
- Develop and maintain good relationships with ENGIE subsidiaries and our partners
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline required
- A minimum three (3) years of experience required
- Professional qualification such as CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
- Previous energy market experience in one of the following sectors is preferred; utility scale renewables, distributed generation (i.e. rooftop solar, etc.), energy services, retail electricity, natural gas transportation, or distribution
- SAP experience is a plus
- Outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated expertise in developing and utilizing detailed, Excel-based financial models
- Understanding of the Operating and Maintenance Agreement; Concession Agreement contractual framework
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
- Must be able to multi-task; utilize problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to be able to engage with all stakeholders
- Knowledge of modern management tools in continuous improvement

- Salary Range: $60,500-$100,500, annually
- Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors
