Job Summary/Basic Function:
To be a Project Coordinator, you must be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with diverse teams. You will facilitate the effective management of teaching assistant communication and training, lesson postings for the SFI program courses, as well as administrative and marketing activities according to the standards of the program.
This is a 20 hour per week benefit-eligible position.

Level Scope:
Entry-level professional with limited or no prior experience to contribute on a project or work team. Incumbent learns to use professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to-day objectives. Works on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision making. This level is typically focused on self development. Requires theoretical knowledge through specific education and training.
Essential Functions:
60% of Time the Project Coordinator, Associate must:
• Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
• Oversees all media types across all channels including web and social media
• Creates and develops assets for specialized design tasks. Collaborates with team members on design projects
• Manages the recruitment process and training for new hires. Serves as the primary point of contact for recruits and new hires.
• Facilitates day-to-day course activity including attending weekly course huddles and keeping up-to-date with student interactions
• Assists with a variety of marketing activities, working closely with other team members. Supports digital and in-person activities
• Updates the university website(s) including team pages, course information and schedules
• Manages all tickets and inquires coming into the global inbox and distributes tickets to team members
• Responds to all Global Inbox questions and comments
• Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
• Ensure project deadlines are met.
• Determine project changes.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Undertake project tasks as required.
• Develop project strategies.
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
• Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
• Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
35% of the time
• Support planning and coordination of program and its activities
• Manages all tasks associated with corse setup and completion
• Updates system records to maintain data accuracy for all team members
• Facilitate and scale teaching assistant hiring process, training and communication
• Ensure implementation of policies and practices
• Manage social media community and marketing
• Help build positive relations within the team and external parties
• Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda
• Keep updated records and create reports or proposals
• Support growth and program development
5% of the time – Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Proven experience in project management and/or community engagement
• Tech savvy, proficient in Google Workspace, and basic web design skills
• Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and efficient
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Completion of at least one Society for Ideas class Salary and Benefits:
20 hours per week with benefits with the salary range of $20.41/hr – $24.75/hr.
