Project Engineer – Buildings

About The Role:

The Project Engineer reports directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for providing assistance to senior staff in the coordinator, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control functions. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial construction projects. This role will initially be supporting a new hospital project in Moses Lake/Quincy, WA.

As a Project Engineer at Graham, you will:

  • Works with the Project Manager to establish a cost-reporting system for all project
  • Monitors daily, weekly and monthly labor, equipment, material, and sub-trade costs.
  • Monitors and updates schedules on a regular basis, with the assistance of the Project Manager and Senior Project Coordinators.
  • Reviews and monitors actual construction vs. schedule
  • Identifies critical paths and keeps abreast of manpower loading and materials deliveries
  • Assists with the drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions, and change order
  • Maintains all QA/QC documentation, maintains records of all testing and inspections
  • Ensures that all work is completed accurately (i.e. survey)
  • Assists with the completion of estimates, estimate reviews and costing

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $80K-$100K
