Job Summary:
ERII is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate temporary opening with the Project Engineering group, in the San Leandro, CA facility. This position is responsible for supporting manufacturing, sales, field service, and ongoing engineering initiatives in the development and production of pumps, turbines, and energy recovery devices for the desalination, oil & gas, and fluid processing industries.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create part numbers, BOMs, and technical documentation to support sales orders.
- Support engineering change management activities such as ECOs, redlines, etc.
- Construct solid models and 2-D drawings for manufacturing.
- Create technical documents and work procedures.
- Prepare engineering submittals.
- Create or update data cards for engineering drawings.
- Create or update production part numbers and BOMs in ERP system.
- All other projects and duties as assigned
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or other technical concentration or current enrollment in accredited college program
- Technical competency in the fundamentals of mechanical engineering design and analysis.
- Intermediate SolidWorks® skills.
- Must be goal oriented and possess a demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM preferred.
- Experience with Oracle PLM preferred.
- Experience with Dynamics D365 preferred.
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Technical writing experience is a plus
$25 – $30 an hour
The below range is the range that we reasonably believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future. The salary range for this role is $25.00 to $30.00.
