The Project Engineering Team Lead role at Atlas Technica, is a detail-oriented, highly visible, client-facing role expected to supervise and deliver technical projects with a focus on onboarding new clients, respond to inbound customer queries as well as provide outbound customer advisories for technical onboarding in a rapidly growing fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of Junior Project Engineers and Interns
- Act as an escalation point to your team for technical and non-technical issues
- Approve PTO and time entry management for your team.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and training for the team including managing feedback and job performance.
- Conduct end of year performance review for the team.
- Manage ticket queues, time entries, and project coordination within the team.
- Manage and develop documentation and processes within your team to better support project and service delivery to our customers.
- Assist with client escalations when required.
- Attend and participate in client meetings
- Participate in organizational initiatives to improve functions, processes, and technology for Atlas Technica and clients
Minimum Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of people management and 5 years of IT experience (IT Projects or integrations, Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, Systems Administration) and should have the following qualifications:
- 2-3 years of IT Projects, integrations, and support with a focus on Microsoft 365 (full stack), Microsoft Intune, Active Directory to Azure Active Directory Migrations, Microsoft Server consolidation, Microsoft SharePoint implementations, SaaS file and On-premises file server migrations; Microsoft Windows desktop and Azure server deployment, Microsoft Office, desktop, and mobile device troubleshooting. Firewall and Switch configuration and troubleshooting, PowerShell scripting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Support of Sophos or similar product for endpoint threat management
- Basic understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Understanding of networking: TCP/IP, LAN / DMZ / WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching, and Firewalls
- Experience working in an MSP environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial industry experience including familiarity with market vendor applications: Bloomberg, Thompson Reuters, FactSet, CapIQ
- Significant experience in an MSP environment, particularly utilizing the ConnectWise suite of products
- Exposure to/ability to support workloads in Azure or AWS
- Automation, configuration management, and large-scale bulk computer deployment experience
- Experience with vendors such as Google Workspace, Box, Dropbox, Duo, Okta, AirWatch
- Experience with Ubiquiti/Meraki Wireless Deployments
- Familiarity with MacOS Mobile Device Management utilizing Addigy or Jamf
- Experience with Mimecast or other mail security gateway solutions such as IronPort or Proofpoint
