Position Summary: The DCCC is hiring an Analytics Programs Director for the 2024 cycle. The Analytics Programs Director will harness the DCCC’s state of the art analytics tools for use by congressional campaigns across the country. This role supervises the recruitment, training, and management of Regional Analytics Strategists and will serve as the primary facilitator of external analytics programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest level of support and service for targeted congressional campaigns, as the Regional Analytics Strategists work to support the work of Regional Analytics Directors.
- Serve as primary liaison with projects affecting external stakeholders and collaborators, including consultants across the industry of campaigns strategy and analytics.
- Directly supervise four staff members in their day-to-day tasks, prioritizing professional development.
- Foster a culture of learning that provides staff with a beginning understanding of strategic, data-driven campaigning based on a holistic view of persuading and mobilizing voters.
- Train staff on how best to communicate data-heavy concepts in clear and actionable ways and to effectively utilize various tools and techniques to produce analysis and deliverables of the highest quality.
- Collaborate with Analytics Campaigns Director in developing training programs and workflows so the Regional Analytics Strategists’ work provides support and capacity to their Regional Director counterparts.

Requirements
- Several cycles of political experience, including at least 2-3 cycles of experience in data, targeting, or analytics
- Past experience hiring, training, managing, and developing staff strongly preferred
- Experience designing and implementing targeted voter contact universes for field, digital or direct mail
- A demonstrated ability to present data-driven recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Familiarity with online voter file tools such as VAN/Votebuilder, Catalist, or PDI.
- Intermediate or advanced skills in SQL, Excel, or G-Suite.
- Prior experience with survey research, polling, or modeling as a client or a facilitator.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Google Data Studio.
