Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Project Manager to support US Army Aviation Rotary Wing Avionics Testing Laboratories and Equipment. Candidate will be responsible for day-to-day project management of multiple laboratory operations, personnel, equipment, and test programs.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Project Manager (PM) for all H-60 System Integration labs (SIL) and Integrated Bench Test Facilities (IBTF) supporting the U.S. Army Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation, Utility Helicopters Project Office (UHPO) providing programmatic oversight and a project management skillset. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are executed to provide pre-planning for development of Courses of Actions (COA), development of technical status reports and government responses to technical requests. Execution includes multiple contracts with major contractors and U.S. Army supporting commands. PM duties include chairing Bi-weekly Status Meetings with other U.S. Army organizations as well as developing presentations, charts, agendas, and action item documentation for interface with the U.S. Army organizations and coordination with and tasking of US Army Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED) for airworthiness authorizations, development of acquisition strategies, statements of work, contract technical evaluations and negotiation support.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

– 5+ years of experience managing software development and software integration
– B.S. degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business/Systems Analysis or related fields.
– Secret Clearance Required
– Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification not required but desired
– Attention to detail and documentation of multiple ongoing projects and programs concurrently is highly desired
– Military Aircraft Avionics experience and knowledge is highly desired

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $66,000-$146,000.”

Due to the nature of the government contracts this position requires US Citizenship.
