Project Manager – CO

Summary/Objective:

The Project Manager is responsible for successful execution of the project by ensuring compliance with the plans and specifications, meeting critical deadlines and completing the job within budget. The Project Manager is tasked with overseeing company policies and procedures are being followed in the field by the construction crews. The Project Manager is responsible for organizing and leading the team by implementing project controls, defining roles and responsibilities, developing communication protocols, and identifying elements of project design and construction to reduce the likelihood of disputes and claims.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop the project’s execution plan by preparing schedule, review construction details, management of design and submittals, safety planning, subcontractor management and outside support.
  • Promote safety and manage safety program implementation with the goal of No Accidents
  • Schedule management and project coordination.
  • Manage the project costs by reviewing manpower, equipment and material costs.
  • Forecasts Costs and budget management
  • Contractor/Sub-contractor Management
  • Perform risk assessment to protect the company’s interests
  • Oversight of material procurement
  • Oversight, review and preparation of project control documents
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Superintendents, Owners, Engineers, Architects, Sub-contractors, General Contractors, and Suppliers.
  • Project site visits to ensure compliance with company programs, quality control inspections and coordination meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural Engineering or other technical field, such as Construction Management
  • 10+ years of Project Management experience preferably in the Municipal, Consulting or Construction industry
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft word/excel, Scheduling Software, Autocad
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to multi task

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Our good faith estimate of the compensation range for this opportunity is a base salary of $100K – $150K. Individual pay decisions will vary based upon the experience and qualifications of the applicant. This range is based on market rates and determined by considering many factors such as external market salary survey data, internal data for comparable roles, and the operational and budgetary objectives of the company.
