About the role
The Project Manager – Communications is responsible for coordinating the timelines, tasks and execution of project plans that drive strategic initiatives designed to provide superior customer experiences. This team member partners with Global Internal Communications, Public Affairs, Public Policy, KEYS communication team members and internal resources from other functional areas to advance digital, communications and business initiatives that serve our internal and external customers, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet their strategic objectives.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, maintaining accurate and comprehensive project documentation within Projectplace, Workfront and AirTable
- Responsible for coordinating the kick-off, timelines, tasks, resource requirements, and after-action reviews for communications plans to support initiatives across the enterprise.
- Keep all projects on task, follow-up with individual stakeholders, recognize risks and jeopardies, and proactively work with business stakeholders and Corporate Communication teams to resolve challenges.
- Promote a cooperative and productive work environment and build effective working relationships with internal and external partners to promote strategic priorities
- Provide direction and support to project teams, tracking deliverables and progress, while monitoring changes to the project scope and timelines, logging and escalating issues to management as needed
- Manage multiple small and medium scale projects simultaneously
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Conform with all company policies and procedures
Responsibilities
What makes you a dream candidate?
- Working knowledge of the project management and quality assurance processes used to implement new initiatives
- Knowledge and experience with agile methodology a plus
- Experience with Projectplace, Airtable, Workfront, Sharepoint or other project management software/tools

Salary
The base salary range for this role is: USD $59,700.00 to $110,500.00.
At GM Financial, we strive for transparency in all aspects of our business, including pay equity. This is the GM Financial pay range for this role and job level. The exact salary and compensation will vary based on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
This role is eligible to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. Full time employees are eligible to participate in health benefits on day one of employment.
