As a Construction Project Manager, you will be essential to furthering our mission by cultivating strong client relationships, overseeing the design and construction of secure spaces, managing project budgets and financials, as well as ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication.
This role will:
- Collaborate directly and closely with the client, Adamo personnel, and other project stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Take the lead in designing and implementing secure space improvements and construction projects.
- Lead, document, and distribute meeting minutes for project status meetings with stakeholders.
- Coordinate and contract with subcontractors and vendors to effectively achieve both corporate and project-specific goals.
- Manage, develop, and supervise Adamo field personnel and their respective responsibilities.
- Ensure strict compliance with the project contract documents and plans.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures for all installed work.
- Participate in job walks and diligently record detailed notes for accurate estimating.
- Organize and coordinate job walks with subcontractors.
- Efficiently organize and manage all project data, ensuring proper storage and filing of both hard-copy and electronic files within the company.
- Attend weekly Project Manager meetings to stay updated and contribute to the project’s progress.
- Prepare and submit project documents to the building department as required.
- Proactively follow up with customers to ensure a positive project closure and satisfactory outcome.
- Occasionally travel out of town for out-of-town projects, as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to Adamo Policies and Procedures to maintain a consistent and professional approach.
This role might be a good fit for you if you have:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or military construction as a Project Manager, Construction Manager, or in a related position are strongly preferred.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of estimating, project scheduling, and critical path analysis.
- Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
- OSHPOD, DOD, or DOE experience preferred
