Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a dedicated Control Account Manager (CAM) spanning across multiple programs within the Space Domain Awareness portfolio of the Space Superiority division. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door of the Program Management career path in the exciting domain of Space. This role is based in Colorado Springs, CO and may have availability for remote work dependent on program support flexibility.
Essential Functions:
Program Management / Control Account Manager (CAM):
• Support management of program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs
• Manage and is responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance reporting of assigned programs or subsystems of major programs
• Create and maintain project schedules in Microsoft Project (MS Project) for resources/staffing allocations, technical execution of project schedules and milestones, and manage and track cost to maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) of project work packages
• Manage Customer Deliverables utilizing EVM related to budget projections, base of estimates, contract forecasting, and cost variances to account for man hours and budget predictions
• Redirect pitfalls and develop a better course of action
• Provide regular executive-level updates on overall project status
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers, engineering lead and project engineers, and customers
• Support project issues and risks assessment as well as support development of resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Coordinate stakeholders to ensure budgets, funding, resource allocation, and WBS information is disseminated on or before the start date of each project
• Analyze and prepare purchase order agreements for subcontracts, material, and teammates
• Support proposals, may develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and cost estimations for future projects and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems and obtain solutions such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
• Project operations, contracts, or finance experience
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Ability to interface with multiple stakeholders from a variety of organizations (internally and externally) in support of requirements development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Previous experience supporting GOV/DoD customers
• Current Secret Clearance
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $60,000 – $112,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
