    Primary Responsibilities

    The Project Manager, Distribution Strategy will work closely with the Senior Manager, Distribution Strategy and be responsible for supporting and assisting in key assignments, project management, and data analysis to help execute the strategy and agenda for the Operations team.

    Essential Functions

    • Provides key support to complete and communicate assigned project tasks within the deadlines set forth by the Senior Manager.
    • Collaborates with different departments and serves as a reliable, trusted, and fair channel for all stakeholders.
    • Leads and develops projects from start to finish according to the objectives provided upon direct leader’s request.
    • Determines required project deliverables and escalating issues as needed for direction/approval.
    • Manages Operations mobile communication app and communication strategy/calendar.
    • Manages project status, completion, success metrics, and flags key messages or barriers during internal meetings.
    • Collects action items, takes meeting minutes, consolidates feedback, and provides recommendations for process improvements.
    • Builds presentations and communicates content and vision clearly.
    • Tracks and follows up on action items with key stakeholders.
    • Performs data collection, analytical research, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a professional and efficient manner.
    • Process and customer oriented with the ability to effectively communicate strategies to others.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively within a group and can build relationships quickly.
    • Strong attention to detail and follow through on instructions.
    • Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities, assignments, and other circumstances.
    • Extremely trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive information or situations with discretion.
    • Strong understanding of business financials and process improvement.
    • Expert skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong analytical background with the ability to demonstrate diplomacy and proactive action.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • College degree or Bachelor’s degree required combined with 2-4 years of previous project management experience
    • Food Distribution experience is a plus
    • Experience managing large or complex projects and comfort with ambiguity.
    • Experience analyzing data and translating it into strategic actions.
