Position Title: Project Manager – Enterprise (P3)

Role
Responsible to manage assigned (LIT and Dark Fiber) West Region orders from inception to completion. Ensuring that all activities are coordinated efficiently and completed upon mutually agreed timelines of the customer and Crown Castle and within budget. Leading internal and customer deployment meetings, including kick off conversations. Perform critical path analysis for projects to calculate, identify and manage aspects of the deployment to mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead customer meetings including kick-off and status update calls.
- Manage the activities of internal operations and engineering groups to ensure proper planning, communications and implementation of solutions.
- Communicate customer requirements to other cross-functional technical teams and project stakeholders to achieve project results.
- Communicate project status including dependencies to customer in order to set and meet expectations.
- Develop a relationship with the client and serve as primary point of contact for any discussions regarding the project status and deliverables with the customer as well as with Crown Castle Fiber management.
- Perform critical path analysis for projects to calculate, identify and manage aspects of the deployment and mitigate risk.
- Make project specific decisions independently to affect the overall scope of a project.
- Empowered to reject invalid or poor work, recommend alternate courses of action.
- Ability to take complete ownership of projects with minimal assistance or supervision.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current and store appropriately
- Build company image by collaborating with customers and employees; enforcing ethical business practices
- Track organizational priorities, organize meetings and track action items and create reports, presentations, and other activities as dictated by the business
Education/Certifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent industry experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Three (3) to five (5) years of Project Management experience
- Managing project budgets or related financial experience
Expectations
- Must demonstrate experience in customer relationship management and possess the ability to adapt project management approach to satisfy customer’s needs
- Experience managing large scale complex projects in a like or related industry
- Strong working knowledge with the Microsoft Office portfolio
- Excellent client facing and internal communication skills
- Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals including requirement definition, resource scheduling, risk mitigation and change management
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Understanding of OSP/ISP construction
- Strong understanding of Ethernet technologies
- Understanding of carrier installation, test and turn-up procedures
- Must demonstrate experience in managing multiple vendors, resources, to deliver time sensitive projects.

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
For California residents the hiring range offered for this position is $85,040 – $105,000 annually. In addition to salary, employees are eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15% of annual salary and restricted stock. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
