Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (ERP Implementations) to join our CGI team in Phoenix, AZ.
This is a Hybrid role (combination of remote and onsite). Someone who appreciates working in a fast-paced collaborative environment and who would enjoy being part of a growing team implementing critically meaningful solutions for Government and Commercial clients.
We are looking for a candidate with consulting experience who can and drive project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and closure.
The role will manage multiple projects across different platforms; lead technical and strategic direction; and collaborate with a cross-discipline team of engineers, management, and customers to design innovative solutions for our clients.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for the achievement of the project objectives.
Leads, directs and is responsible for managing all aspects of the project, such as scope, effort, cost, quality, resources, communications, risks, procurement, and the project deliverables.
Leads the team and manages the full lifecycle of the project to completion.
Core Responsibilities:
• Work with the Account Manager to plan, organize and lead project team
• Ensure that there is adequate staffing on the project and that all staff are proficient in procedures applicable to their roles
• Maintain overall control of the schedule and the delivery of all expected deliverables
• Prepare the management deliverables (e.g. project plan, work plan, management reviews, request for changes, outstanding issues and risks) and seek approval when necessary
• Notify the Account Manager or Engagement Manager of any issues and submit recommendations to resolve these issues
• Take action on issues of non-compliance in quality and ensure all project products are in accordance with quality standards
• Maintain ongoing contact with the client project manager and ensure ongoing close work relationship
• Work with client executives and business unit managers to align the delivery of Services with the strategic needs of client Communicate plans, responsibilities and status to project stakeholders
• Communicate plans, responsibilities and status to project collaborators
• Manage and communicate all outstanding issues, risks and decisions and change requests
• Perform or guide the role of Configuration Manager, ensuring that the procedures identified for configuration management are followed and that the Change Control Board (CCB) performs as specified
• Perform or guide the role of Requirements Manager, ensuring that the procedures identified for requirements management are followed
• Partner with account teams to build account plans by customer to expand solution portfolio, improve performance and meet long-term customer priorities
• Ensure all solutions are delivered in accordance with CGI standards and methodologies
Additional responsibilities:
• Coordinate cross-project activities
• Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
• Resolve project’s higher scope issues
• Prepare reports for Program Directors/Executives
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 5+ years of experience in IT-related project management
• ERP Project Management experience planning and monitoring analytics projects using Agile/Scrum principles
• Demonstrated ability to perform all facets of the standard project management lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling and closure required
• BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or directly related degree required
• Adept at actively managing scope, risk, and client communications required
• Ability to balance technical requirements with business needs
• Strong interpersonal/communications skills and excellent writing/presentation skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Team-management and leadership skills
• Self-motivated and organized
• Ability to adapt to a fast pace, dynamic work environment

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,000 – $165,300.”
