Now Brewing – project manager, Experience Innovation Team! #tobeapartner
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
As a project manager on the Experience Innovation team, you will be responsible for executing various fast paced workstreams that deliver purpose-defined experiences and standards. This role is critical to supporting meaningful enablers like the Innovation for Scale forum, Renovations Pod and Purpose-Defined playbook. You will drive large, cross-functional enterprise projects by leading high performing, often globally distributed teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for executing programs that deliver a consistent approach to creating, publishing and updating standard program documents.
As a project manager, you will…
- Autonomously apply knowledge, processes, skills, tools and techniques to project activities in order to meet project goals – By utilizing Starbucks established project and program management methodologies, you will deliver business value in support of purpose-defined experiences and standards.
- With minimal guidance, organize and leverage project resources such as talent, materials and budgets – You will be responsible for developing and driving various project schedules in order to meet project milestones and deliverables. You will promote collaboration opportunities, at all levels, between SSC-based support and regional-based stores development and operations partners.
- Create program documents for new programs and initiatives – you will partner cross functionally to deliver documents such as program guides, timelines, communication plans, project piloting and learning strategies, status reports and implementation plans.
- Drive to understand and communicate how project goals align with Experience Innovation team goals and strategies – This includes nimbly adapting to shifting priorities while leading others. You will be responsible for facilitating decision making on project teams without having the total picture by thoughtfully balancing risk and uncertainty.
- Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and have a clear ability to drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
We’d love to hear from people with:
