Tetra Tech’s High Performance Building Division is looking for a Project Manager to manage facilities and infrastructure projects. The selected candidate will experience a unique opportunity to be involved with projects located in various areas of the United Stated working with a team of in-house experts in all disciplines. Our dynamic work environment requires thinking outside of the box to incorporate design and construction solutions to adapt to unique project specific challenges.
The successful candidate for this position will lead multidisciplinary design and production teams delivering buildings and infrastructure solutions to federal, municipal, and private clients.
Your Leadership will Include:
- Managing a multiple project portfolio worth $5M and $15M in design fees.
- Ensuring superior collaboration and communication within a multi-discipline environment between clients, employees, and leadership.
- Responsible for the successful coordination of workload through design development and construction document phases to complete projects on schedule.
- Reviewing plans and specifications documents for areas of conflict between all disciplines.
- Leading the quality control and assurance processes for all projects in assigned portfolio.
- Coordinating, monitoring, and controlling the change process within the project portfolio.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with increasing responsibility within the consultancy industry.
- Professional License in Engineering or Architecture.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and delivering on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct development of large projects and pursuits with complex features and building key target client accounts.
- Ability to motivate others and lead teams to implement plans for projects and client pursuits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Position open to U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
- Able to perform site visits to construction sites.
- Up to 20% travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sustainability certification (LEED AP B, D+C, ENV SP, GPCP).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain certification.
Estimated Salary Range (with PE): $112,000-$145,000. Please note that this range reflects the pay scale that Tetra Tech CBI reasonably expects to pay for the role and it is dependent on many factors. The pay scale will depend, in part, on geographical location, job duties and requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
