Position Overview

Under administrative direction, performs complex professional and advisory functions in Program Management through a variety of means including but not limited to document analysis, interviews/group discovery sessions. Develops techniques, formulates concepts and procedures, and devises solutions to meet operational objectives. Serves as a project leader for delegation of duties and to provide advice and guidance to lower-level professionals. Travels in the performance of duties.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Performs complex professional and advisory functions in Program Management through a variety of means including but not limited to document analysis, interviews/group discovery sessions.
  2. Serves as a project leader for delegation of duties and to provide advice and guidance to lower-level professionals.
  3. Coordinates development activities and reports to management assigned projects and their progress towards completion of the development.
  4. Prepares testing scripts based on the agreed development requirements to ensure all system modifications or new system functionally meets or exceeds the established development goals.
  5. Keeps abreast of new development in the Information Technology field.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields.
  2. Requires three (3) years of professional experience in a related Information Technology field.

Specialized Skills:

  1. Of the three (3) years of experience, requires three (3) years of experience with project management business analysis using industry standard tools/technology and modeling software, business and technical writing and preparing project documentation, including documented experience and certification as PMP.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Three (3) years of experience with project management business analysis using industry standard tools/technology and modeling software, business and technical writing and preparing project documentation, including documented experience and certification as PMP.
  2. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with associates, vendors, clients, and others.
  3. Ability to coordinate the activities of work with that of associates to achieve desired results.
  4. Developed verbal and written communication skills to present information to others with clarity and precision.
  5. Ability to analyze and identify business issues/problems and coordinate efforts to resolve.

Conditions of Employment

  2. Requires the ability to work beyond normal business hours to meet deadlines.
  3. Requires ability to keep abreast of new developments in the Information Technology field.
