Project Manager, Internal Services (remote with travel)

Siemens Global Business Services is looking for a Project Manager to join our Project Services team. This position can be based in the east and central time zones- remote with travel. Project travel will range from 10% to 40% (domestic).

This role covers a diverse portfolio of projects including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Finance, Digitalization, Tool Implementations, and Service Transformations in the US.

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant partners and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan including work packages, milestones, and quality gates to supervise and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation and deliverables ensuring that they adhere to quality standards
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the detailed execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects meet quality standards and adhere to all company methods, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Identify additional business opportunities out of the ongoing projects and support of project attainment based on customer requirements and needs.

You will win us over by having the following qualifications:

  • BS/BA in related subject area required. Advanced degree a plus. Will consider other education with equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years working in the field of Project Management with experience implementing Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Supply Chain Management, Digitalization, Transformation, IT, or Factory projects
  • Solid understanding of formal project management methodologies (Agile / Waterfall).
  • Use and continually develop professional skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in process improvement; changes existing ways/approaches and generates ideas for new and practical solutions.
  • Advanced in the use of MS365 products (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint) SmartSheets, and project scheduling tools
  • PMI PMP Certification highly desirable

  • The pay range for this position is $71,300 – $122,300 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
