IT Project Manager
This financial client is seeking an experienced senior Project/Product Manager with exceptional project management process and methodologies experience to contribute toward the success of their client migration to a new system and system initiatives.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for independently and objectively managing the overall project, ensuring proper controls are in place and processes are followed.
- Review and maintain detailed budgets, issue lists, and status reports related to the project.
- Manages projects from initial concept through post implementation per methodology and via
- approved project tools
- Capable of utilizing sub-projects within master projects and advanced views of project plan within project planning tool
- Builds bridges and relationships with key project stakeholders while serving as a liaison.
- Able to address issues via direct one-on-one dialog or with the stakeholders.
- Authors project management artifacts
- Develops and maintains project plan(s), meeting minutes.
- Ensures project governance is established and observed. Recognizes, clarifies, and prioritizes.
- project plan activities
- Authors effective, clear, concise, and relevant communication for program/project stakeholders
- Presents the appropriate message to audiences including senior management.
- Works effectively across the organization to achieve goals.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 7 years’ experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling large, complex, client impacting projects
- Extensive experience in system migration project management, project planning, organization, control and reporting
- Expert in Microsoft Project
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; executive communication experience is a must.
- Facilitate and develop closer integrations to peer teams leveraging cross matrix skills.
- Strong Leadership skills
- Agile experience
- Expert in all Microsoft applications (project, excel, PowerPoint and others), PowerBI, SharePoint
