YOUR ROLE
- At Henkel, our Project Managers excel by leading and coordinating a project team’s overall performance, scope, time, and deliverables. Our clients in consumer electronics field rely on timely and efficient execution, and as Project Manager, you will drive the charge to deliver new products to our strategic markets. - Leads and delivers projects as outlined in the project charters and plans.
- Facilitate and manage the definition and delivery of vision and goals of the project.
- Drives the completion of projects on time, within resource budget, and within scope.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize according to market strategies.
- Identifies and brings to timely resolution project risks and issues and escalates issues to the sponsor as needed.
- Acts as link between global project team and project sponsor.
- Provides timely and regular status updates to project sponsor and steering committee.
- Promote and develop excellent project management throughout the organization
- Balance best practice with reason and technical understanding for optimal execution
- Measures, tracks and reports on project performance and milestones.
- Proactively identifies and addresses areas for improvements as well as risks and countermeasures.
- Prepares and aligns the deliverables with both the project team and project sponsor.
- Sets up and ensures execution of project communication plan. Leads the project team and effectively delegates tasks.
- Balance best practice with reason and technical understanding for optimal execution
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred 7+ years broad professional experience 4+ years of project management experience bringing new products to market
- Past working experience in adhesives and/or electronics industry is preferred
- Strong familiarity with stage-gate process, project management methodologies, tools and best practices
- Positive attitude, driven, persistent, and results-oriented with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels in a global organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project skills
- Ability to travel 15% – 20% (Domestic and International)
- Ability to speak Mandarin a plus

The salary for this role is $105,000 – $130,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
