Job Description
General Responsibilities:
Terracon is seeking an Owners’ Representative and Construction/Project Manager to perform on-site services for various clients that involves daily travel to their locations. The immediate need is for the Richmond/Petersburg area but will vary in site location typically anywhere from the Tidewater to Richmond areas. Work includes functions in the field and in the office. It is essential to have the desire to communicate and work with all of the various professionals and trades in the construction, project management and design industries.
Terracon is seeking Project Managers and/or Engineers that are comfortable working in the field and in an office environment. Work includes new construction and existing building projects for such activities as forensic evaluation of building leaks or structural issues, structural design, repairing, replacing or designing building cladding or roofing systems, and performing air and water leak testing for newly installed fenestration products. It is essential to have the desire to communicate and work with all of the various professionals and trades in the design and construction industries.
Qualifications:
- A degree or equivalent training in construction or project management fields
- Two or more years of on-site project management experience
- Ability or desire to obtain industry accepted certifications
- Knowledge of building systems
- Strong skills to work independently while still being part of a collaborative team
- Knowledge or ability to understand BCOM building requirements
Primary Tasks:
- Scheduling work, processing paperwork and pay apps, general project documentation
- Reviewing levels of work completion in the field
- Following up with contractors
- Checking on status of existing projects and bid assistance with new projects
- Managing active and potential construction projects for the Owner
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year

Expected Salary Range
The expected salary range for this position is listed below. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
