Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the PM Director, this position will be primarily working under the assigned PX responsible for the business development, sales engineering and estimating, project management and closure of construction contracts. Successful performers in this position will have the ability to develop, maintain and enhance ongoing client relationships. This position is responsible to assist in training all previous levels when requested. This position will be assigned to the largest and most difficult projects operating independently with their assigned team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversight of designated project/s from turn-over to closeout
  • Oversee and maintain compliance with contract obligation
  • Provide and maintain project budgets and Schedule of Values
  • Oversight/creation and updating of project construction schedules
  • Oversight and management of document control (RFI’s, Submittals, Cors) for all assigned projects
  • Ensure all monthly billings are accurate and timely.
  • Sub-contractor management
  • Oversight of weekly job cost control/monitoring
  • Assist in the A/R collections
  • Assist in Change Order Estimating/ negotiations/ management
  • Assist material and equipment buy outs on assigned projects
  • Utilization and Collaboration with support operations (BIM/Detailing, Fab, Warehouse, Field operations.)
  • Supervision of all ACCO project activity, from award to closeout
  • Provide supervision and leadership, and coordination of all ACCO department efforts including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service during project construction in a timely manner.
  • Maintenance of positive relationships with all clients, vendors, subcontractors, and the industry.
  • Scheduling and coordination of pre-construction job meetings with department heads and supervisors.
  • Contributes to and participates in special studies, committees, etc., to advance ACCO’s technical abilities in engineering, planning and estimating, installation procedures, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in the successful estimating, design and/or management of Plumbing projects installation.
  • Ability to operate independently and autonomously, and yet possess the discretionary judgment to know when it’s appropriate to consult with others in the organization
  • Proficient utilization of management / accounting software
  • Demonstrate a corresponding high sense of integrity
  • Strong interpersonal and project management abilities, employing strong organizational skills to respond successfully to a high volume of issues
  • Degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent experience required

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, talk and hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and at times reach above shoulder height to access storage cabinets. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl (for purposes of filling photocopier/printers).
  • Ability to Climb ladders, roofs, etc. as needed to reach service area
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Regular and routine attendance

HOURS:

Monday through Friday beginning between 6:00 am and 7:00 am and ending between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, with one hour for lunch. Eight hours per day is required, and occasional overtime may be necessary due to business needs.

Competitive Wages:

$104,200 to $140,800 Annual Salary. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee’s total compensation.
