Job Description

Overview:

Merkle Project Managers on our Promotion and Loyalty team manage scope, budget, timeline, risks, and expectations throughout the development of our projects. They ensure high quality, while providing daily management and control of program activities and provide program leadership across the organization. You will partner with our Client Services team and works across all the disciplines- creative, front and back-end development, quality assurance, and strategy and insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide to cross-functional Delivery teams.
  • Be the primary daily client liaison and advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage business within assigned accounts in a way that assures high client satisfaction and achieves clients’ desired program results.
  • Be the expert on their client’s best practices and brands and translate knowledge of the client into effective business and marketing tactics and execution.
  • Monitor project progress against the proposed plans including budgets, timelines, quality criteria and risk management.
  • Represent the client’s needs to internal team members.
  • Identify or clarifies issues with projects and makes recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Be an internal quality control check for all programs to ensure they meet client requirements.
  • Describe client requirements, collaborate in the development of deliverables, supports the ongoing activities of client programs.
  • Solve daily problems and exercises good judgment not only in solving problems, but also in determining when to escalate issues.

  • Identify and document program strategies, business requirements, technical requirements, and timelines support of our client deliverables, revenue targets and company strategy/goals.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of professional experience as a project manager managing technical or digital projects
  • Experience with internet applications and technologies
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Project
  • Firm knowledge of Internet technologies to best exploit the capabilities of our products and services
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000-$121,500.Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
