This is a temporary role through Magnit Global with one of the world’s leading health insurance companies.
Role Summary:
This Evernorth Care+ Solution Train Engineer (STE) is a key team member involved in delivering capabilities required by Cigna’s high value capital investments. The STE, working closely with the larger Solution Team will orchestrate the overall IT delivery strategy across multiple IT organizations. The STE will also coordinate and track the activities of external vendor partners. The STE will contribute in the creation and management of Clinical Program Management and Solution Train Engineering processes, metrics, and reporting and will provide mentorship to other Program Managers / STEs on staff.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the estimation and scheduling process with cross-program leadership
- Ensure financial management of all programs owned by the STE. This includes the collection, processing, reconciliation and management of the financial assets and the associated reporting at various levels within the organization.
- Lead the collection of program estimates and creation of budgets which consist of a variety of internal and external sources.
- Direct large-scale, complex programs and projects often involving multiple internal and external constituents and matrix partners including different business segments, many functional operational areas, several IT application areas, and various vendors and partners
- Accountable for one or more initiatives including business, operational, and IT deliverables
- Manage initiatives to mitigate risk and deliver expected outcomes
- Responsible for defining and tracking key project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
- Develop the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, vendor sourcing plan, contingency plan, and other related project management artifacts
- Directly manages all aspects of the project life cycle and works with matrix IT partners to oversee all SDLC phases of a project
- Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters
- Validates financial forecasts and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
- Develops communication plans and interfaces with matrix teams, IT leadership, business leadership, and external vendors/partners to execute on responsibilities
- Publishes periodic project status reports

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
- The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $62.07/hour-$82.76/hour
