As a project manager supporting the Starbucks Connect program in digital business services, you will:
Contribute to Starbucks success by facilitating the execution of complex projects and initiatives as part of the Licensed Stores Starbucks Connect team within the Digital Business Services (DBS), group. The Project Manager will help build and maintain process and advance technology service administration for US Licensed Stores including one of the most exciting and largest programs for LS Stores in recent history: Starbucks Connect. The Project Manager executes project plans and drives innovation supporting their defined scope within the Connect program, maintaining communication across the project team to realize the Connect business vision.
Leveraging your previous experience, we will enable you to:
- Facilitate the execution of multifaceted programs as part of the USLS Digital Business Services (DBS) Starbucks Connect team
- Manage projects and process in accordance with available Starbucks established project and process management methodologies
- Maintain project plans, objectives, and schedules that support enabling growth and stability within our supplier network
- Maintains risk and issue logs, action tackers, and organization of teams’ SharePoint.
- Adapts to shifting priorities and ensures effort is adjusted accordingly.
- Document and periodically update program standard processes and procedures
- Apply knowledge, processes, skills, and tools to activities to meet program goals
- Establish strong communication lines and relationships with cross-functional teams to better understand business needs and document risks
- Drive cross-functional engagements by supporting high performing, often geographically distributed teams
- Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and have a clear ability to drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team
We’d love to hear from people with:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills within complex environments
- Ability to drive project efforts to completion with a high degree of independence at times
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles
- Track record of working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Ability to complete analysis and leverage tools and resources. Utilizes both facts and data.
- Ability to translate requests and actions needed and knows when to escalate to leaders
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrates growth mindset and comfortable with ambiguity
Qualifications:
- 2 – 3 years application of industry-based project management methodologies and tools
- 2 – 3 years managing complex process and program engagements
- 5+ years general business experience in large, matrixed organizations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience working with Tableau, Smartsheet, and Salesforce applications
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to influence and drive process improvements both internally and externally with third-party vendors and licensees
