Tesco Controls’ core business is designing and building process control systems and power solutions for municipalities and industrial clients to keep critical infrastructure operating efficiently. Job Summary:

Supervise direct reports of Level I and II staff. Manage large complex projects to ensure budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met.

Requirements

Essential Functions:

  • Work with Engineering and other internal departments to plan, organize and direct project activities.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within the boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
  • Monitor and control projects through administrative direction of on-site production to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.
  • Explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, customers, and end users.
  • Formulate reports on work progress, costs and scheduling.
  • Delegate, manage, and monitor assigned projects.
  • Monitor and aid in control of quality of project deliverables; ensure work quality meets standards.
  • Establish and maintain project schedules to accurately estimate labor utilization and project timing.
  • Coordinate with other project team members; identify scope of work, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with customers, consultants and end users.
  • Provide technical assistance in developing bid package specifications and evaluation of contractor.
  • Follow up with customers to obtain feedback; correct problems, and address customer issues.
  • Provide consulting on technical matters relating to new/ pre-established construction projects.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with internal departments, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.
  • Report to PMO Management team regularly to provide updates on the individual PM’s KPI’s

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Construction Management preferred
  • PMP certification required.
  • At least 7 years related experience in the field.
  • 3-5 years of documented experience in a supervisor role
  • Water/Wastewater experience and Electrical experience

Demonstrated Skills and Knowledge:

  • Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner; written and verbal.
  • Act as a responsible company representative.
  • Regularly attend formal training, review journals, publications, and other valuable resources to continuously develop knowledge of current technologies.
  • Work with Engineering and other internal departments to plan, organize and direct project activities.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within the boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
  • Manage project load of up to 25 projects with project budgets up to $15 mil and an unbilled total of up to $15 mil.
  • Monitor and control projects through administrative direction of on-site production to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.
  • Explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, customers, and end users.
  • Formulate reports on work progress, costs and scheduling.
  • Delegate, manage, and monitor assigned projects.
  • Monitor and aid in control of quality of project deliverables; ensure work quality meets standards

Pay offered will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographic location. We may pay more or less than the range based on the person’s qualifications. In good faith we believe the range is what we will pay for this role at the time of the posting and may change in the future. In addition, Tesco offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vacation, holidays, and 100% 401K match of your contributions up to 4% of your earnings.
