The role.
We are seeking an experienced and detailed Project Planning and Scheduling Professional to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with project managers and engineering teams to ensure critical paths and deliverables are identified and communicated successfully. Additionally, you will supervise and align documentation deadlines, support progress reporting, and manage resources applicable to projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning and scheduling, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update the master schedule for OEC projects, incorporating project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
- Alert project managers and engineering teams about critical paths and potential delays to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Monitor and align documentation deadlines, ensuring that all vital documents are delivered on schedule.
- Provide support to project managers in the elaboration of S curves and progress reports as per contractual requirements.
- Supervise the allocation and availability of internal and external resources required for project execution.
- Supervise and control delivery dates from factories to OEC, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and other project-related challenges.
- Continuously review project schedules and identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, or process enhancements.
Your profile.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years in project planning and scheduling, preferably in a project and engineering environment.
- Proven understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Working experience using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of resource management principles and techniques.
The pay range for this position is $63,700 – $109,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
