We are currently seeking a IT Project Manager to join our team in REMOTE, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).
The IT Project Manager oversees various system projects and/or programs and the work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity. The IT Project Manager understands their own work area regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding their own work approach/priorities, and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation. The IT Project Manager will report directly to the Operations Tower Lead as the dedicated IT project manager for the Desktop Engineering tower.
Responsibilities:
- Manage intake of project requests and work closely with PMO Governance team to advise on discovery and requirements gathering during intake.
- Attend Requirements Gathering (Discovery) working sessions to represent the account team tower for project intake and solution development.
- Contribution and Development of solution proposal response to project requests.
- Assembles a project team from account team dedicated resources, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
- Visibility and awareness of daily operations resource assignments to consider when scheduling and planning project delivery.
- Actively manages stakeholder partnerships and mitigates risks.
- Learn the customers PMO Governance process and procedures to successfully manage intake and delivery of projects for our tower; includes being familiar with changes to the process and applying in a timely manner.
- Manage all applicable project records in the appropriate ticketing system, primarily Service Now. This includes timely submission of status reports, task updates, schedule maintenance and so forth to meet requirements of PMO Governance.
- Familiar with the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
- When managing programs, oversees the interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects, and sets strategies and program execution to deliver longer term business value.
- Can possess specialized knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects.
- Manage associated change tickets in Service Now for software changes associated with project delivery.
Skills & Preferences
- Experience supporting public sector government environment
- 5 years IT Project Coordination and/or Project Management experience
- Thorough attention to detail and organization
- Ambitious and Self Motivated, Resourceful
- Must pass client background check
- US Citizenship required

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is $45k to $75k. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
