Position Summary:
This position requires the flexibility to use a collaborative approach to fill the project’s needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Aid in planning and implementing actions by an integrated project team to define baseline project scope and quality requirements for project products and services
- Assists the project team in developing testing and test management procedures, standards, and policies
- Responsible for scheduling and management of testing assignments, project testing status to include maintaining tracking of individual requirements pass/fails and updating a Requirement Traceability Matrix to reflect the status, defect tracking, and measurement reporting
- Understand the business functionality and define the overall test strategy
- Develops comprehensive test plans and maintains standard IT testing and test management processes and procedures
- Expand and maintain standard requirement traceability processes and procedures
- Develop and maintain staff training materials for the above test management processes
- Conduct staff training for test management processes
- Effectively communicate at project, senior manager, or executive levels regarding specific test management or execution issues or escalations
- Provide consulting to project teams for test management
- Develop standard test management reports and visualizations
- Act as the point of contact for any project-related test management activities
- Effectively communicate the daily testing status – dependencies, track progress, and manage testing workflow to defect resolution
- Logging and managing the defects in ServiceNow
- May be responsible for the direction or training of less experienced testing staff and customers
Position Requirements:
Education Required
Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Business, Engineering, or the Sciences
Experience Required
> 10 years of project management experience
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively connect with a variety of people
Ability to work autonomously and with ambiguity
Experience Preferred
The leadership of cross-functional business initiatives that deliver measurable business value
Government contracts
Specialized or Technical Knowledge, Licenses, and Certifications
SharePoint and ServiceNow experience
Proficiency with advanced project management, collaboration, and reporting systems (e.g., MS Office Suite, MS Project, MS Project Online, Smartsheet, Tableau, Power BI, and Adobe Acrobat)
