Job Summary

This is a “Project” position designed to support project work for a limited duration. While the exact duration of the project is yet to be determined, we currently anticipate a period of 3-5 years based on business needs at the present time following which you will separate from the Company. It is important for you to understand that this period may be shortened based on business needs in the future, at which point you will separate from the Company. It is also important for you to understand that this employment is of a limited duration and that you will not be entitled to separation benefits under any PSEG plan at the time you separate from the Company. Director Level approval and waiver will be required for you to bid on other PSEG opportunities within the first 3 years of assignment. From year 4 through the end of your assignment, Director level approval and waiver will not be required. If your assignment ends prior to the anticipated timeframe based on business needs, you will be allowed to bid on other PSEG opportunities without Director level approval from the time you are notified your assignment will be ending through the end date of the assignment.
The Testing Center of Excellence Delivery Manager will build a robust test data management strategy. Manage enterprise-wide and ensure that documented requirements and acceptance criteria representing all stakeholders are met. Lead, support, manage, and monitor Testing Center of Excellence and improve implementation of standard testing and validation practices. Manage testing schedules, environment, and test management plan for all projects enterprise. Validate test plans, test cases, defects, user scenarios, test scripts, and testing estimates follow the policies and procedures of Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE).

Job Responsibilities
• Build a robust test data management strategy including:
o Invest in collecting appropriate data
o Recognition that single data sets will encompass multiple scenarios
o Detailed domain knowledge is critical
• Validation of RTM templates across the projects for assurance of complete test coverage
• Managing Test Environment needs for projects
• Managing testing schedules and coordination with Development teams
• Working various test leads to make sure consistent test metrics are captured and reported on the schedule
• Providing support to Release management team and communicate Go-No Go decision for Testing

Job Specific Qualifications

Required
• Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Information Technology Management, Quality Control, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in end-to-end test management (e.g., requirements tracing, use case and scenario analysis, test strategy, planning, functional and non-functional test design, test execution & defect management)
• In-depth knowledge of testing and quality control strategies, methodologies, policies, procedures, reporting, and tools
• Demonstrable understanding of different service/software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices
• Demonstrable hands-on experience supporting and managing end-to-end testing for projects, changes, and releases across a range of size and complexity using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Hands-on experience creating and managing test plans and execution from requirements to close of “warranty period” in test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA)

• Excellent understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies.
• 10+ years project management experience managing projects from conception to successful implementation
• Commanding knowledge of the technical and business issues in any of the following areas: Applications or Infrastructure Architecture, Systems Development, Project or Product Management and Operations/Production support.
• Proficiency using at least one Gartner-recognized test management application (e.g., ServiceNow, HP Quality Center, HP ALM, JIRA Xray)
