Responsibilities
We are seeking a Property Specialist in Fort Irwin, CA, to support our Deep Space Network (DSN) Operations and Maintenance O&M contract with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and NASA.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Property Control System complies with the contract clauses and corporate policies and procedures. Will maintain a NASA-approved property control system consisting of personnel, processes, and resources for controlling Government Property.
- Assure all Government and Contractor Owned Property is identified and asset records are created in an enterprise asset management (EAM) platform
- Update property records to reflect the receipt, movement, and disposition of Government Property
- Ensure/conduct physical inventories as required
- Provide direction to personnel regarding Government Property issues
- Dispose of surplus or obsolete material and equipment per established procedures
- Support NASA property audits as required
- Assist/conduct annual property self-assessments
- Assist in contract closeout processes such as equipment inventories and transfers
- Assist Area Supervisor and Manager in developing policies and procedures for Property Management
- Maintain the work area in a clean & safe condition
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience, Associate’s Degree & 6 years’ experience OR High School Diploma or Equivalent & 8 years’ related experience required (related experience, which must include general warehousing, inventory control, customer service and issues, supervision, transportation, and property control)
- Must have Microsoft Office experience and be knowledgeable with Maximo® or equivalent database systems. Have a minimum certification of Property Administrator from the National Property Management Association (NPMA). Must have experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs.
- Comprehending and following written and oral instructions and procedures without direct supervision. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Strong leadership skills. Must be able to apply mathematical or statistical methods to identify, analyze and resolve problems.
- Must possess and retain a valid California driver’s license

Target Salary Range
$51,000 – $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
