A real estate company specializing in multi-family properties is seeking a motivated Property Inspector to join their dynamic team! As a Property Inspector, you will be responsible for overseeing the development progress of multiple properties, conducting inspections, and providing updates to the team. This is a remote position out of Los Angeles that will require you to visit properties in the area and occasionally meet at the company office in Costa Mesa, CA

Pay Range: $60,000 – $70,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular property inspections at various locations, documenting the development progress and capturing detailed photos
- Update the team on the status of each project and communicate any issues or concerns
- Assist in setting up inspections and scheduling with contractors for Section 8 properties
- Perform final walkthroughs after contractors complete their work
- Visit new properties in Los Angeles for evaluation and documentation
- Collaborate with co-owners to align on inspection objectives and requirements
- Maintain accurate records of property inspections using the Monday system or a similar CRM/Asset Management tool
- Learn and understand the real estate industry, including city planning regulations and inspection requirements
- Collaborate with architects and contractors, obtaining proposals and facilitating data entry into the system
- Display flexibility in working hours and availability, being on-call and ready to respond to property needs
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own a car (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Must live in Los Angeles
- Tech-savvy with the ability to work efficiently on a smartphone and take high-quality photos
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately report on property conditions
- College degree preferred (real estate, architecture, or engineering majors)
- Previous experience in property inspection, assistant project management, or project coordination preferred
- Familiarity with the Los Angeles City property inspection processes is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ambitious and eager to learn, with a passion for real estate and city planning
