Description
Lyon Real Estate, the premier real estate brokerage company serving the Greater Sacramento Region, is looking for an experienced, customer focused Property Management Assistant to join our team. This is a full time, non-exempt position working in-person at our branch office in Woodland.
As a Property Management Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the property managment office and staff, manage various department processes and interact with applicants and tenants on a daily basis. Successful candidates must have great organizational and communications skills along with an exceptional customer service philosophy and outstanding problem solving skills.

Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate service providers in response to property maintenance requests from tenants
- Managing, monitoring and closing out service and maintenance requests
- Collect rents and works with Property Manager & Accounting to ensure property records are accurate
- Show properties to potential tenants and clients as needed
- Create lease documents and conduct lease signing appointments as required
- Communicate with vendors and issue vendor packets
- Update HOA, Warranty and Home Insurance information
- Maintain positive and respectful relationships with company agents, company property managers and support staff at the branch offices and corporate headquarters
- Answer phones and greet visitors
Qualifications & Education
- High school diploma/GED required with some college experience preferred
- Valid CA Driver’s license
- Minimum two years of residential property management experience with single family homes
- Minimum two year of experience in an administrative support role
- Knowledge of federal and state housing regulations
- Experience using online property management software (e.g., Appfolio)
- General maintenance knowledge preferred
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office and Google Suite
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a fast paced work environment with attention to detail
- Great with people. Warm, friendly with good phone etquette
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
