Propulsion Test Process Engineer

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and under-served communities around the world.

The Role:

Have you wanted an opportunity to develop electric propulsion systems for an advanced satellite constellation? The “Propulsion Test Process Engineer” will work within the Kuiper propulsion team in the design, commissioning and operation of electric propulsion integration, commissioning and test equipment. The test engineer will work with sub-system owners to stand up and run processes beginning from definition and early planning stages through to execution and handover to operations teams for regular use. This person will assist in authoring commissioning procedures, designing associated hardware and integrating automation routines within existing frameworks. You will contribute to finding solutions to challenging problems trading process methodologies, schedule constraints and precision in determining and implementing commissioning, integration and test solutions. The candidate will take a lead role in installing and commissioning and integration infrastructure across several Kuiper facilities.
