Assist the Program Manager with day to day responsibilities of the AmeriCorps Seniors, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
Enter data from volunteer applications and activity logs.
- Maintain paper or electronic files for record keeping
- Communicate with site coordinators and volunteers to ensure proper reporting
- Complete required forms and reports. Submit accurate documentation for grant reporting
Advocate for the RSVP program in various community sites.
- Attend monthly Advisory Council meeting
- Contact donation sites; assess and determine level of need for home and Division on Aging worksite volunteer hours
Match Volunteers with volunteer site opportunities.
- Remain informed about current volunteer job site opportunities
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma. One (1) year of work experience in data entry and customer service. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint. Per Sedgwick County Policy, this is a driving level position that requires a valid US driver’s license and current proof of automobile insurance.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. One (1) year of work experience coordinating volunteers and public speaking. Bilingual in English and a language other than English.
