PTP Sr.Analyst

Overview

This role will assist with the design, development, governance, while supporting the implementation and deployment of the Direct Procurment are of Procure to Pay (PTP) value stream for the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT). The objective of this role is to ensure that the PGT supports the the execution of end to end Direct Procurement processes with SAP and Agriculture Contract Management (ACM). This includes collaborating with the PTP Direct Global Process Lead to design standardize business processes and ensuring that the configured system conforms to the PGT design approach while meeting the needs of end users. The PTP Solution Design Specialist will be a assist the PTP SDO/SDL with the PGT Design Authority.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with PTP Solution Design Lead (SDL) and the Direct Procurment – Global Process Lead (GPL) to co-design the end-to-end solution
  • Drive decision-making for PTP Direct solution in the Global Template
  • Collaborate with the GPO, SDL, GPLs, and Global SMEs to ensure that the template solution considers global requirements
  • Accountable for defining the integrated end-to-end solution, & determining which processes should be common globally. Additionally, if localization is required, partner with the SDL, GPO & GPLs to review and approve related localized design requirements
  • Actively enage business process owners, offering solution alternatives for optimization, simplification and standardization
  • Seek out and identify global lift and shift opportunites across the sectors
  • Champion and uphold the PGT integrity, identify new areas for expanding PGT SAP footprint, follow program methodology and communication, maintain responsibility for on time/on budget design and delivery
  • Drive completion of key project activities in collaboration with the SI’s Solution team and Global Process Owner/leads (3 in a box)
  • Act as primary Change Leaders in support of the program and secure necessary project resources
  • Understand process interdependencies and ensure the design of fully integrated process solutions with other process teams
  • Accountable for quality of process team deliverables
  • Partner with System Integators (SI) in designing, building a fully functioning system based on the user stories, with all supporting project lifecycle documentation (process flows, PDDs, config rationale, testing etc)
  • Collaborate with all value teams to deliver an optimized end-to-end Global ERP solution leveraging agile methodology – Consult / Execute
  • Actively engage business process owners, offering solution alternatives for optimization, simplification and standardization – Consult / Execute
  • Seek out and identify global lift and shift opportunities across the sectors – Consult / Execute
  • Collaborate with all scrum teams to deliver an optimized end-to-end Global ERP solution leveraging agile methodology – Consult / Execute
  • Work closely and collaborate with onshore and offshore scrum team members to ensure a prioritized and sufficient product backlog for the teams to work against – Consult / Execute
  • Participate in key Sprint planning, retrospectives and other key ceremonies – Consult / Execute
  • Leads the global solution governance process, and provides official sign-off on exceptions for Direct processes
  • Identifies global lift & shift opportunities across sectors within the PTP Direct space, facilitates execution through Global Process Leads
  • Along with scrum team identify, monitor and implement key agreed-upon improvements – Consult / Execute
  • Stays up-to-date with technology and industry trends by proactively participating in training, self-study, conferences, webcasts, user group participation, reading or other relevant means
  • Adopt and adhere to Agile principles and values (see agilemanifesto.org):
    • Adopt development practices which focus on quality and value, while increasing efficiency, and minimizing waste
    • Foster an environment where communication, teamwork, and innovation are encouraged
    • Help to implement Agile engineering best practices such as continuous integration, automation of testing and delivery, and continuous peer review within teams.

Compensation & Benefits:
• The expected compensation range for this position is between $68,000 – $113,850
• Location confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-8 years of experience configuring, deploying and managing SAP ERP with a focus on one of more these areas of SAP PTP, or MTD areas of S4. Ariba skills a plus
  • Strong experience in end to end process design and development. And integration with cross functional areas with SAP
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan, Azure, ALM, ARIS and MS Project
  • Solves highly complex problems within the work team, and with cross functional teams
  • Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
  • Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
  • Consulting background a plus
  • Influence and negotiation Skills
  • Coaching/Facilitation skills (as promoted by the Agile Coaching Institute), including but not limited to
    • Levels of Listening
    • Conflict Resolution
    • Root Cause facilitation
