This position is part of the Get the Lead Out Of Schools Program charged with assisting Missouri schools in successfully implementing and complying with the Get the Lead Out of School Drinking Water Act to help reduce children’s exposure to lead. This position will be responsible for data collection, data entry and data management and will be the technical support for the reporting requirements of the Act. This position is a part of the Healthy Drinking Water Unit in the Bureau of Environmental Epidemiology.
What you’ll do:
- Work closely with school districts, establishing relationships, providing technical assistance with regard to reporting sample results and remediation efforts.
- Assist in implementing the GLOS reporting process including monitoring and tracking the progress of incoming reports, ensuring they are received in a timely manner and logged correctly in the reporting system or database.
- Responsible for collecting and integrating data from various sources into centralized databases for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Assist in the management and tracking of invoices, including ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and policies, working with internal fiscal office and external contractors to provide invoice-related information and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in implementing measures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Review sampling plans and track remediation efforts in support of contract monitoring.
- Provide data entry and data management support to other programs within the bureau.
- Assist and/or coordinate activities related the bureau’s outreach efforts, particularly with GLOS and WIIN grant programs.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
- A high level of commitment, and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
