BWC is currently operating under a hybrid schedule that can incorporate both teleworking and in-office hours. Employees may be required to report to the office when requested by management &/or for their initial job training.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develops and executes a comprehensive communications strategy that supports BWC’s goals and objectives;
- Assists with website content creation, ensuring that it is user-friendly;
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and promote a positive image of the agency;
- Writes and edits scripts for high-quality videos for use in BWC communications and promotional materials.

Qualifications
Required Experience and/or Education:
Completion of undergraduate core program in journalism or communication; 6 mos. exp. in public multi-media techniques & relations in field of journalism or communication; valid driver’s license.
Or 30 mos. exp. in field of journalism or communication dealing in public multi-media techniques & relations, public speaking, news writing, reporting & editing or technical report translation & communication dealing in public meetings; valid driver’s license.
Or 12 mos. exp. as Public Information Specialist, 64420; valid driver’s license.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
