Details:
A Project Scheduler job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH 45242. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have 2+ years of scheduling experience, preferably using Deltek Open Plan.
Job Title job duties:
• Create and maintain existing technical project schedules.
• Collaborate with technical team members to create and setup tasks, assignments, durations, and linkages.
• Create schedules in a consistent manner following established guidelines to allow schedules to be filtered by task types (reviews, design, hardware), using a work breakdown structure (WBS).
• On small projects create links between multiple schedules, forming an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Monitor project timelines and deadlines; identifying potential delays and facilitating intervention.
• Coordinate with technical team members to gather the necessary data to perform schedule status updates; updating progress on tasks, performing task additions/removals, and linkage updates as needed.
• On Earned Value Management (EVM) projects, assist team members in understanding schedule variances after project status is completed.
• Assist in the generation of reports to provide to client business leaders on key metrics, milestones, critical path, and (for EVM projects) key EVM metrics and milestones.
• Support Senior and Master Project Scheduler with tasks as requested or directions as given.
Qualifications:
• Education: Associate degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of project scheduling or project management experience.
• Highly organized, detailed oriented.
• Ability to work independently and with team.
• Some technical, or mechanical background is preferred. Emphasis on experience working with Engineers.
• Ability to take ownership of your work and the overall success of the program you are supporting.
• Due to the nature of the work being done all applicants must be U.S. Citizen
• Must be willing/capable of obtaining a security clearance. Having one is a plus.
• Candidate must be local or willing to relocate.
Compensation:
Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Benefits offered may include health, dental, vision, and life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and paid leave required by law. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $72,800 to $87,360. Guidelines vary based on many factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market and business considerations.
