The Vita Coco Company is seeking an Associate Brand Manager (ABM) to support its newest brand, PWR LIFT. The ideal ABM will embody the hard-working spirit of PWR LIFT, bringing an entrepreneurial spirit and relentless enthusiasm to grow the brand one consumer at a time.

Reporting to the Associate Director, PWR LIFT, the ABM will be responsible for building, managing, and activating the brand’s community of partners, influencers, and consumers. This position will be based out of The Vita Coco Company’s HQ Office in New York City.
Responsibilities:
- You will work as the “hub of the wheel”, owning the execution of consumer programs and initiatives in partnership with Growth, Activation, and Creative teams.
- Champion the target consumer, brand positioning, and brand voice throughout the organization, ensuring consistency across touchpoints.
- Lead the recruitment, management, and content briefs for Team PWR LIFT, the network of brand ambassadors, professional athletes, and influencers partnered with PWR LIFT to build genuine brand advocacy online and at events.
- Build brand activations with gym and athlete partners around key brand moments and holidays, ensuring content capture and product sampling while entrenching the brand in local fitness communities in partnership with the activation team.
- Support content planning across PWR LIFT social media channels, assisting the Social Media Specialist to execute annual social strategies.
- Develop activation materials to support all brand initiatives, from events and samplings to influencer kits and ambassador gifts.
- Contribute to social impact initiatives, from seeking charitable organizations to evaluating improvements to the carbon footprint.
- Support the production of performance media ads, working with the growth team to provide ad-specific UGC and ensuring ads abide by brand guidelines.
- Manage the brand budget, working cross-functionally to maintain an accurate view of spend and accruals throughout the year.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in CPG or related industry.
- A team player with energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude.
- An organized and task-oriented problem-solver that can think on their feet, take initiative, and make fast-paced decisions.
- Ability to establish strong partner, community, influencer, and salesperson relationships that drive success for the PWR LIFT brand.
- Proficient communication, presentation, and computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Inclination towards a healthy, balanced lifestyle, with interests in health and wellness, nutrition, and fitness.
- A propensity to travel, including occasional weekend travel.
- The ideal candidate lives and breathes fitness, training, and has an expert understanding of the Spartan, Ironman, and CrossFit communities.
At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $75,000-$80,000. This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
