Job Description:
A NYC agency located in Brooklyn, NY is looking for a QA Analyst/ Tester for a long term contract.
Please note that this position requires onsite work.
Pay rate range: $44.00/hr – $51.00/hr
Requirements and skills
- Minimum 4 Years Experience in Business/Quality Analysis tools such as : JIRA, Balsamiq & MS Visio
- Minimum 4 Years Experience with QTP, WinRunner, Visual Studio, Selenium, etc.
- Minimum 4 Years Experience creating, executing and managing automation scripts
- Minimum 4 Years Experience with SQL Server, LoadRunner, Jmeter
Responsibilities
- Initiate and implement testing
- Identify user stories and translate them into Test cases as required.
- Create Test cases vs. RTM Matrix against the user stories to support application development.
- Ensure that the application development is according to the quality assurance standards.
- Execute Integration test cases covering all integration points with other applications.
- Coordinate defect triage calls with design and development team.
- Coordinate with UAT team on UAT test strategy, and UAT test data.
- Coordinate UAT defect triage calls with UAT team.
- Helped team with performance testing.
- Identifying test automation scenarios.
- Facilitating Postproduction verification for various releases.
- Provide Management Reporting and Information dissemination
- Analyze and document current systems and processes as currently implemented.
- Make recommendations for improvements based on client feedback.
- Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to spec and on time.
- Managing QA team activities – QA effort estimations, task allocations, creation of QA status JIRA dashboards and reports, facilitating QA signoff on meeting the defined exit criteria.
