Hybrid Contracts Administrator

Salary: $21.00- $35.00 hourly

Position Overview

As a Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals relating to construction projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Mitigate risk through effective review, redlining and negotiation of contracts.
  • The Contracts Administrator is responsible for preparing and administering contract documents while tracking and maintaining the master subcontract log
  • The administrator will provide aid to project team with bonds and bonding requirements, ensuring all correct attachments and company standards are used while securing all necessary approvals
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain contract records, files, and logs
  • Ensure contract review, approval, and execution is performed in accordance with company policies
  • Distribute documents to project team and management, as necessary
  • Provide weekly status updates of contract issuance to project team
  • Process purchase orders and change orders
  • Maintain electronic filing system
  • Issue Certificates of Insurance as required per the project
  • Recognizes unique requirements, characteristics, and issues based on project/owner specifications
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Display a high level of organization and prioritization for tasks at hand
  • Knowledge of legal requirements with contracts
  • Demonstrates flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines through analytical problem solving
  • Proven time management and follow-through skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment
  • Display superior written and oral communication skills and effective listening skills
  • Maintain a tactful, mature and professional demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse personnel

Education and/or Experience

  • A minimum of 3+ years’ contacts experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent work experience, additional qualifications in law are a plus
  • High Volume environment
  • Experience with Microsoft software such as Word, and Excel
