Quality Assurance Specialist (UMS)

Responsibilities:

This position will assist the Production Manager in: responding to patron disputes; coordinating the development and approval of collection and ODNB letters with Customer Service Department and letter vendors; assisting in the administration of UMS’ Improvement Opportunity program; Submitting time-sensitive reports as required; processing data in the production department, monitoring files for accuracy and proper configuration; provide backup on inbound patron calls when required. Providing general administrative assistance to the Production Manager. Must be able to work in office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Please note: This is an in-office position.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; post high school education preferred.
  • 1-2 years relevant administrative experience
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office Applications;
  • Typing proficient; 40wpm
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent command of the English language;
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple priorities within given timeframes.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality and compliance.
