Hourly Pay Range: $19.81- $28.00

Responsibilities:

  • Multi-functional role within the Quality and Process Improvement department, would require a candidate to have competencies that include but are not limited to Microsoft suite, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word to sort & generate actionable data for analysis, creating reports/graphical content, slide decks for training & communication aids & transcribing/developing Work Instructions/Standard Operating Procedures to support daily Operations.
  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) metrics are updated monthly.
  • Conduct data entries for Site Classification Assessment (SCA) 5S audit criteria & post reports monthly.
  • Ensure controlled documentation is reviewed/updated on scheduled basis that aligns w/ SCA requirements.
  • Conduct spot audits/quality inspections of 5S program required documentation & update records.
  • Assist in Kaizen Event Planning Process (KEPP) by supporting Lean Manager w/ CI project deployments.
  • Generate site reports for 5S program, Kaizen updates & site certification statuses for management review.
  • Print & post visual management systems to support department processes to improve Operations.
  • Work with onsite Operations teams to assess and refine processes within areas of responsibility.
  • Work with onsite Support teams to assess and refine processes respective to department.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School or Equivalent Certification
  • Experience: 4 years’ experience in a distribution/warehouse environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills and ability to be detail oriented.
  • Ability to collaborate with and communicate with diverse groups of people at all levels.
  • Must be able to work overtime dictated by business needs.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • LEAN / Six Sigma experience preferred.

Internal Candidate Requirements:

  • 3 or fewer attendance points
  • No disciplinary action in the prior 6 months

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms.
  • This position may be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch as it relates to product handling and distribution, and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • This position will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • This position will be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
  • This position may be required to climb ladders
