This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
This position may be eligible for a (hybrid) telecommuting schedule / remote.
Tasks for this position must be performed largely on-site, but later assignments may be performed remotely.
Essential Functions
- Operate VISION support for launches
- Represent VISION at all pre / post launch meetings for supported missions
- Support enterprise standardization collaboration in the development of operating processes and procedures for VISION
- Coordinate reviews and processes related to Western Range LISC Operating Instructions (LOI), other instructions, procedures, and System Operational documents
- Provide quality reviews and assist in standardization of processes and procedures between the Eastern and Western Range
- Monitor workflow to ensure on timely delivery of products associated with launch operations and analysis
- Maintain situational awareness of all program/government/agency/range mission requirements and constraints
- Assist with routine requirements; perform technical writing, training, and data gathering
- Assist with Range Operations Service Summary Item (SSI) scoring and post-mission analysis
- Maintain procedures and work instructions in accordance with applicable LISC Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and control activities during countdown for missions
- Ability to make educated decisions under pressure
- Ability to organize and prepare reports, present clear oral and written direction
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
- Adept at public speaking and customer interaction with audiences including RGNext and Government senior leadership
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with the customers, management, and peers
- Ability to work independently, while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with leadership, other employees and organizations
Required Experience
- Associates degree in business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in an analytical or related field; experience on the Western Range preferred
- Experience preparing oral and written correspondence and reports
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understand RGNext launch planning, execution, associated instrumentation, scheduling, and timelines including those required by the Universal Documentation System preferred
- Knowledgeable on Vandenberg SFB functions, assets, launch, maintenance, and engineering inter-relationships, preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- The flexibility to work non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License

The salary range for this role is $64,480 to $97,648; however, RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
