Can you teach reading?
We are seeking a creative and caring educator who is comfortable coaching reading skills and can relate to a struggling learner. Typical situations involved 2-3 hours/week in person with the student.
We’re looking for candidates with a solid understanding in the field of education and a passion for transforming students so that they can reach their full potential.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced tutor and/or teacher who must be able to adapt to different learning styles. We want our tutors to have the integrity and knowledge to push students to excel beyond expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Physically located in or near Bettendorf, Iowa.
- College grad, upper level college student, and professional only. Teaching credential is a plus.
- Previous experience in teaching/ tutoring required
- Ability to build rapport with students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage and educate students in a non-classroom setting
- Design and implement lesson plans at varying academic levels
- Establish academic goals and milestones with students
- Document and communicate progress reports
- Provide constructive feedback for students
