Responsibilities

  • Main Purpose of the role:

    Looking for a tax enthusiast with a corporate tax reporting and compliance background who will report to the International Tax Senior Manager.

    • Work with various global finance teams to gather information required to complete the international portion of the U.S. Federal income tax return including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, and 1118, E&P and foreign tax credit computations, and related disclosures and elections
    • Compute, substantiate and source Subpart F income and tested income items of the foreign subsidiaries for inclusion on consolidated US tax return and 861 apportionment
    • Build and maintain current knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and current tax developments, including research and documentation of tax issues
    • Compute current earnings and profits for foreign subsidiaries, maintain accumulated E&P and PTEP pools
    • Update entity ownership structures based on transactions and maintain database of foreign subsidiaries
    • Support process improvement initiatives
    • Support the International Tax department with planning initiatives
    • Assist with the International components of IRS and State tax audits
    • Assist with other ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Years of Experience, prior to the career break:

  • 2+ years of corporate tax experience with the Big Four public accounting firms or equivalent industry experience in a corporate multinational tax department
  • Advanced Excel (pivot table, power query)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and writing/oral communication skills, ability to multi-task and take ownership of projects.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Masters in Taxation degree or CPA a plus
  • Knowledge of Corptax, HFM or SAP software preferred
  • Power BI, or Alteryx skills a plus
  • 2+ years of International Tax Compliance experience

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $74,800-$125,250 based on a full-time schedule
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
