Position Summary:
The Project Manager (PM) position works closely with members of the Real Estate Development Department and other SAHA staff to promote, preserve and develop affordable housing in keeping with SAHA’s mission. The position is responsible for contributing to all stages of affordable housing development for to two to three active development projects at any given time (depending on size, complexity, and development phase of the projects) and ensures that objectives of each project are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.

Location: This position will work at SAHA’s main office in Berkeley. If desired, this position is eligible to work a hybrid remote/on-site schedule in keeping with SAHA’s policies. This position requires the ability to attend in person meetings at SAHA’s main office in Berkeley and throughout the Bay Area on short/minimal notice. Generally, a minimum of two days working on site at SAHA’s main office is required.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $130,000 annually. Starting offers depend on experience, education, and relative comparisons to current staff.

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Minimum of four years of direct experience in affordable housing development project management is required.
• Must demonstrate experience and successful track-record overseeing all major phases of housing development including planning & entitlements, financing, construction, and conversion to occupancy.
• Master’s Degree in urban planning, real estate development, business or a related field is highly desirable.
• Must be highly skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

We anticipate holding in person interviews in late July and early August. Target employment commence date will be early September 2023.
