Pay and Schedule for Rebar Estimator:
- Pay: $60k Annual Salary
- Full-time: 40 hours (Monday – Friday) 7am – 3:30pm
- Half-hour unpaid lunch
Summary for Rebar Estimator:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing reinforcing steel quantity estimates using Architectural and Structural Construction Drawings. Estimates must be complete, accurate and detailed as they will become the basis for Material Contracts. This is a fast-paced position with hard deadlines for estimate production. This is an in-house position located in Tampa, Florida. Contract estimators need not apply.
Requirements for Rebar Estimator:
- Maintain a drug free workplace.
- Ability to pass a background check, physical and drug screen is required.
- Candidates with a prior criminal history may or may not be considered for this position.
- Candidates may occasionally be required to travel from time to time and must have a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications for Rebar Estimator:
- Three years’ experience estimating reinforcing steel, structural steel or similar.
- The ability to read and interpret Architectural and Structural Construction drawings for large commercial and industrial construction projects is a must.
- Computer literate.
- Experience using ASA estimating software is preferred but not a requirement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good documentation skills and attention to detail along with the ability to organize and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An associate or bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Must be legally able to work in the United States.
Experience for Rebar Estimator:
- MUST be familiar with detailing and estimating
- Office experience would be helpful
- Knowledge and familiarity with rebar
