This individual would be there to greet and welcome customers, have excellent interpersonal, presentation and relationship building skills and ready to help the business succeed!
JOB DESCRIPTION
This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and welcoming lobby area while performing clerical, reception, human resources, and resident communication duties as assigned.
• Greeting visitors and guests with a caring, compassionate manner by allowing them access to the
community utilizing the key card remote access and assisting them to their desired location, if not
familiar with the community.
• Answering questions regarding resident account and community information.
• Completing community tours, answering all questions/inquiries, and communicating information to
the Administrator/Admissions & Community Relations Director for follow-up.
• Providing Customer Service 101 – apologizing they are upset and seeking additional assistance to
resolve the issue.
• Updating the digital community displays with accurate information.
• Ensuring documents are available to staff, residents, and visitors including, but not limited to;
Program Statements, Life Enhancement Calendars, Newsletters, Menus, etc.
• Handling high volume of calls in an efficient and effective manner to include, but not limited to;
properly directing them to the appropriate personnel, providing general information, and
maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Receiving and delivering the mail daily to residents and employee mailboxes.
• Sending and receiving faxes, making copies, and scanning documents.
• Maintaining communication with community staff via phone system, emails, and through the
electronic medical record.
• Arranging and scheduling resident transportation and beautician appointments, as well as
communicating confirmed appointments with the appropriate parties.
• Assisting, as needed, in community training schedule with Clinical Care
Director/Administrator/Cambridge EdU Instructor, communicating dates and times to staff,
providing a sign-in sheet for the meeting, document training completion, and notifying the
Administrator of those who missed training.
• Completing, as needed, designated tasks during the hiring process and communicating new hires
to appropriate personnel.
• Motivating employees through recognition programs, training, and team building.
• Maintaining an inventory of office and Gift Shop supplies and ordering additional supplies when
necessary but remaining within budget.
• Caring for residents in the community by adhering to all community policies and procedures.
• Reviewing all tasks before performing cares to ensure updated cares are being completed.
• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) to include but not limited to; bathing,
showering, dressing, grooming, shaving, nail care, hair care, eating, making bed, doing laundry,
ambulating, and helping to activities and other functions.
• Assisting fellow team members in maintaining a clean, homelike environment that is free from
hazards by tidying up spaces, cleaning up after residents and ensuring that they always look
presentable.
• Attending all mandatory staff in-services.
• Showing up for work on time and following the appropriate call-in procedure when necessary.
• Maintaining a high standard and professional dress attire.
• Demonstrating a passion for quality care as evidenced by interactions with co-workers, residents,
families, and visitors.
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- 1 year of customer service experience required
- Receptionist experience preferred, but not required
- High School education or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
